| Q. Am I eligible? What are the criteria? |

| A. As a minimum, you will be degree qualified, have good command of English, willing to work overseas for 1-3 years and a good attitude to learn. If you obtained your degree from one of the local Taiwanese universities, you may be asked to sit for an IELTS English Tests. You may also need to pass health examinations including drug tests and you will need to be a holder of a current driving license. |

| Q. What kind of work will I be doing? |
|
| A. Depending on your specialization, you will be working alongside a team of skilled professionals to complete project milestones. Most of the work is related to the resource industry. For example, as a civil structural engineer, you may be working on a project that involves the design, construction and commissioning of mineral processing plants. |

| Q. How long is the work? |
|
| A. After an initial 3-6 month probationary period you will be engaged in a 1-3 year work agreement with your employer, whereby your employer will sponsor you with an appropriate Working Visa. You are not locked to the same employer and your pay condition is generally reviewed every 6-12 months. |

| Q. Can I leave if I am not happy? |
|
| A. Yes, you are not locked to the same employer. During the initial probationary period, you and your employer can terminate the employment anytime. Once you have become a full time permanent staff, generally a 4 weeks writing notice is required to terminate the employment. eHR.com.au will assist you in finding the next job shall you decide to leave your current position. |

| Q. How much will I be paid? |
|
| A. The median salary in Western Australia is AUD$59,000 plus a compulsory 9% superannuation contribution from the employers. As a skilled professional and depending on your experience, you may be paid anything from AUD$50,000 to AUD$100,000 |

| Q. What other benefits are there? |
|
| A. You will be entitled to a great range of benefits, including paid annual leaves, sick leaves, superannuation, worker insurance, medical insurance and in some cases, allowance for travel, meals and living expenses. Some company will also provide mobile telephones, laptops and company cars. |

| Q. Do I need to pay any tax? |
|
| A. Yes, the table shows the taxation you will need to pay in Australian Dollars. Superannuation/retirement fund is paid by your employer in addition to your annual salary. You may need to pay for your own Medical Insurance. |

| Q. What is Superannuation, when can I use it? |
|
| A. Compulsory superannuation is a minimum 9% of your salary, paid monthly into your superannuation account. You can withdraw your superannuation fund, subject to a 30% tax, when you have finished your job and left Australia permanently. If you choose to apply for permanent residence in Australia, you can only access your superannuation when you retire. |

|
| A. It is quite common for employers to fly potential employees out to Australia. Some companies prefer candidates to travel at their own expense. This up to you to negotiate with the potential employer. |

| Q. Are the jobs generally permanent or contract? If they are contract, how long is the contract period? |
|
| A. Jobs are generally permanent with a 3 or 6 months probationary period but contract positions are not uncommon. The usual contract period is 1 year with either a 3 or 6 month probationary period. |

| Q. How does the recruitment process work – long distance? |
|
| A. The employers would get in touch with you directly and this is very typical of an online recruitment process. If you are required to fly down to meet with the prospective employer, please make sure there is an understanding between both parties when it comes to covering travelling expenses. You must try to get a faxed agreement (proof) if the employer is considering covering your travelling expenses for just an interview. |
